Meet The Plastics...
I'm not sure how I missed the announcement of this holy iconic matrimony, and to be honest, a little surprised that I didn't get invited. I mean after all, the bride and I have been friends since 1986.
To check out more of the happy couple's special day, head here!...and wasn't Ken blonde growing up?!

Going To The Chapel...
In three weeks I will be heading to my friends, Jess and Tyler's wedding. I can't believe it is already time to send them down the aisle!!! The happy couple is very artistic, intelligent, and all around lovely, so when it came time to think about what to wear I knew I could think outside the box.
*1:: I saw these Tom Binns earrings and fell in love. A DIY project is definitely in order.
*2:: A little cliche but a "love bird" necklace is delicate and sweet to counter balance the earrings--my dress needs some kind of neck adornment and this is subtle enough.
*3:: My mom always tells me I look better with my hair pulled back and this is my compromise. I love the casualness of the style and the fact that it will highlight the statement earrings.
*4:: I adore the three gowns from Tory Burch's S/S 2012 collection. I sent this image to my mother and she has recreated, with alterations to the design, the dress in an incredible purple-burgundy color.
*5:: Because you always have to have options (more is more is more is more and never enough!) especially for all the events surrounding the festivities, I'm having my mom make a hybrid of this dress and the previous dress.
*A not so edited pantone color strip to help inspire my wedding day blissful ensemble.
Jess & Tyler= ❤

The Kids Really Are Alright...
A preview of the mini digs available at All Saints. A tad different from J.Crew but lacks nothing in the style department. How is it that I'm semi jealous of a 6 year old's wardrobe?!?

The Kids Are Alright...
I went to check out the sale options at J.Crew and while I was there I thought I would do a little research for my nephew. The kids look book is so cute and painfully stylish... I just can't handle it.

Mad Hatter...
Back in April my roommate and I expressed mutual interest in sporting a baseball cap as part of our summer attire. Of course we never got around to it until we welcomed fall a few weeks ago. It has become an ensemble regular for me lately and after cruising the internet today, it seems to be the cherry on top of many head strong fashionable ladies.

I snagged a black Yankees ball cap...does that make me an official New Yorker? I'm interested in hoarding a few more solid color toppers as well.
